I spoke in the Chamber today in support of my amendment to the Government's motion on the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement. My amendment focuses on how Parliament can protect workers’ rights, health and safety and environmental standards as we leave the EU.
Caroline Flint has backed a letter to Prime Minister Theresa May seeking Government support to ensure that the UK does not leave the European Union without a deal, and joined a cross party group of MPs who met the Prime Minister in Parliament to discuss how parliament can avoid a No Deal Brexit.
Caroline Flint was guest at this year's Tickhill Awards, hosted by town Mayor John Bergin, but the special guest was Jack Cox, recipient of the Tickhill Young Person of the Year Award.
Caroline Flint joined MPs and health professionals this week to remind everyone of the importance of children keeping their teeth healthy this Christmas and all year round.
Said Caroline: “This Christmas, children will enjoy a lot of sweets, chocolate, sugary food and fizzy drinks. But we don’t want them to forget to keep their teeth clean and look after their smile.”
